Welcome to Muscliff Primary School

Muscliff is more than a school – it is a living community and we are proud to invite you to join the Muscliff family!

Times have changed a great deal since the school was opened in 1997 when we welcomed just one reception class of thirty children. As we have grown in size, we have fortified the strong morals upon which the school was built. We are a school that is forward thinking and respond to the needs of today’s children and anticipate the changing world and society that they will walk into. At the same time, however, we keep our values at our core and never deviate from our strong sense of moral purpose, framing our curriculum and learning around the ‘Muscliff Way.’

OFSTED

Our last inspection was in May 2024.

Muscliff Primary School was graded as GOOD in all areas.

There were many more positive comments shared with us during the feedback sessions, including the children’s love of reading, the school values embedded in culture and curriculum, the strong pastoral support across the school and the highly skilled SEND team ensuring the curriculum is broad, balanced and challenging for ALL children.

Naturally there are always improvements to be made and we shared our next steps in the foundation curriculum with the inspectors.  We will continue to work on assessment in some subjects, and in refining the progression of skills in a few foundation subjects.
