                                             Meet the Governors

    Mrs Sarah Fenby

    Head Teacher

It is my privilege to be the Head teacher of Muscliff Primary School. I work closely with the Governing Board to ensure they fully understand the strengths and challenges of the school community. Together we evaluate, monitor, and review all aspects of school improvement and make plans to ensure the school can be the best it can be! I am proud to work with such a committed, caring group of governors.

    Mr David Banks

    Co-Chair Full Governing Board

My twins joined Reception at Muscliff school in September 2010. In their time at Muscliff I became involved with the MPA, working my way to the position of Chair, something I am justly proud of. Many of you will recognise me as the “man on the microphone” at School events.

At my last event at the school I was honoured to be asked if I would like a position of school Governor. I will fully support and challenge the schools staff to continue their great work of making our school the best it can be, a school we can all be proud of and most importantly help to ensure Muscliff School, teach and inspire all of our children to the best of their ability.

    Mrs Joanna Cartwright

Co-Chair Full Governing Board and Chair of the Resource Management Committee

My relationship with Muscliff started in Sept 2010 when my daughter started in reception, my son followed in 2013. My husband had been on the MPA, and I supported and helped where I could.

I believe that academic success should run alongside the development of the child as a whole, be that through developing lifelong friendships, to partaking in activities they may not get a chance to at home, learning to work together and respecting other people’s needs and opinions.

I thoroughly enjoy representing us parents, to ensure our children get the best possible start on their education journey.

    Mrs Jess Hanafin

    Parent Governor

I’m a parent governor and am proud to have two daughters at the school. With a background in HR in housing and the NHS, I am currently a workforce lead working in the local NHS delivering vaccinations across Dorset. I’ve always been impressed by the values at Muscliff and how these are embedded into everyday school life and learning. Its great to be part of such a passionate team that lives and supports these.

    Mrs Jigna Harsh Udeshi

    Parent Governor

I am a wife and mother to a lovely daughter attending Muscliff Primary School. Additionally, I proudly serve as a Parent Governor, drawing from my teaching background across diverse age groups in India.

Relocating to the UK in 2022 brought significant changes, both personally and professionally. I find fulfillment in conducting weekend classes for young learners, instilling cultural values to children in Bournemouth for over a year now.

My role as a School Governor at Muscliff Primary School fills me with immense pride. I strongly believe in the importance of laying a solid foundation for children, echoing the values upheld by Muscliff Primary School. It's an honor to be part of such an exceptional team, and I am committed to contributing my best to the school's success.

    Miss Maria Tarrant

    Parent Governor

I have recently been appointed a parent governor, as my son completes his first year at Muscliff Primary school. Muscliff was an easy choice to make for my son’s education. And joining the team felt like giving something back towards my son’s education,  for the children that came before him and the children that come after him.

My background is product management, I lead teams with strategic guidance on customer experience and developing product tools and services that customer love to buy and work for our business. I hope that I can utilise this strategic thinking to support and help during my time in this position.

    Mrs Lucy Ford

    Parent Governor

I have two children at Muscliff school who love being part of the ‘Muscliff family’ and I am proud to be able to contribute to the school’s success as a parent governor. I previously worked as Deputy HR Director in the education sector for a local multi-academy Trust for 9 years and therefore have a good understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing schools. More recently I have moved into financial services as a People Delivery & Advisory Consultant, bringing a more commercial perspective. I am passionate about creating the best possible environment for children to learn, grow and thrive and am pleased to support the very dedicated Muscliff team.
