Staying in touch news:
Well done Molly for completing the doodle Spring challenge. We love your little and often approach to doodle! Molly has also completed the White Rose maths lessons this week; her perseverance paid off and she was able to get all the multiplication questions correct! She has also enjoyed the VE comprehension sheet. Well done for all the work you’ve been doing Molly
Charlie has continued to cook and has now made a cottage pie. It looks delicious!
Flynn has sent in a picture of his cursive handwriting. It looks fantastic Flynn, keep up the good work!
Louie has been very busy again this week and has completed a lot of work, well done! Below is a picture of the banana bread and Greek poster that he made.
Jasmine blew us away with the amazing story she has begun to write! She sent in the first three chapters of her book ‘The Pyramids of Doom’ and we can’t wait to find out what happens next! This page from chapter three particularly impressed us – it’s so descriptive and uses lots of English skills.
‘Wonder’ is our summer term English text. Katie has read it and has written a brilliant review of the book. Katie and her brother are also getting ready for VE day celebrations and have created these lovely posters that they have put on their window for all to see!
Star of the Week!
5BP – Jasmine for the wonderful story that she’s started. You’ve clearly put a lot of work into it and should be very proud of yourself Jasmine.
5KF – Louie for the variety of learning that he is doing at home. It’s lovely to hear that you're pursuing personal interests.
5RD – Poppy for keeping up her regularly doodle practise. We’re so impressed with the amount of stars that you’re collecting each week!
Miss Fisher has made another skipping challenge video! We would love to hear how you get on with it
We hope that you have a lovely bank holiday weekend,
The Year 5 team
