Thursday 4th June
We hope everyone is well and that lots of you have been able to work on the new learning tasks which have been added to the class page this week. As always, we have loved hearing from some of you via the stay in touch email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
On the weekend it was a delight to hear from Megan who had a go at Mr. Deans’ animation challenge. Check out her incredible caterpillar animation below. Megan enjoyed making the animation as much as eating the skittles!
Lewis has been finding time to practise his skating skills with the amazing new board he received for his birthday: go Lewis!
Charlie, busy as ever, has concluded his work on the United States with some research into current events. We were very impressed with your work on the story of George Floyd which has had a huge impact in global news recently.
Molly is being as productive as ever, setting a new target to master all times tables using the Doodle Tables app. She has also shared some of her brilliant maths, SPaG and topic work; well done Molly.
Katie has been keeping a nature diary and she has been very lucky to spot some baby animals! She has also been enjoying the science work on light.
Chloe P has also been enjoying learning about light, reflection and refraction this week.
Amber has been keeping her learning skills fresh with Doodle, Maths No Problem and comprehension. She has also been doing lots of PE including bike rides, trampoline and swing ball. Additionally, she is growing some strawberries and keeping a diary to track their progress.
Louie has also been extremely busy with all of the learning tasks on this week’s plan and, to top it all off, he has learnt about the Anglo-Saxons, discovered new maths games and practised his drawing skills with a Minecraft book. Well done Louie.
Stars of the week:
5BP – Charlie for the broad range of learning that you have continue to complete at home, from cooking to learning about current events.
5KF – Apollo for doing lots of practise on Doodle. Well done Apollo, this will help keep your skills fresh.
5RD – Marissa for achieving a 100 day streak on Doodle Maths – well done Marissa!
