Remote Learning Plan - October 2020
15th October 2020
The latest government advice is – wash hands, cover face, make space.
As a local area, we are currently at medium risk. The governments advice is to only get a test if you are experiencing one of the following-
-
High temperature (37.8 degrees and above)
-
A new or continuous cough
-
A change or loss of taste or smell
If someone in your household tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) you should self isolate as a household for 14 days whilst monitoring yourselves/your children should you/they develop any symptoms. You should also follow this practice if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, or have been contacted by track and trace. These government guidelines apply for adults and children. Please see the government website for further information.
Before travelling abroad/to other high risk areas within the UK, please check the government website for quarantine rules and consider if your journey is necessary. There are several countries where quarantine rules apply when travelling back to the UK (self isolation for 14 days).
NOTIFICATIONS TO PARENTS
Dear Parents
We have been issued guidance from Public Health England which includes that everyone should wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. The children have already been doing this and it has become part of their daily routine. In addition to this we have made hand gel available to children as an extra precaution.
The hand gel is an alcohol based hand gel as non alcohol gel will not kill viruses as effectively.
If you would prefer your child not to use hand gel then please can you let the office know.
Many thanks
