Thursday 2nd April

Thank you to those of you that have used the Year 5 email to update us with the learning that you have been doing. We miss you! Please keep us up to date with what you have done; we’d love to know!

Here are some of the things that you have been up to this week:

Katie has sent us in lots of updates this week. She completed the ‘living memory history task’; she phoned her Great Nanny and found out about her time living at the Miramar during WW2. Katie has also been finding out about Ancient Greek buildings; her findings are in the photo below. Well done Katie!

Well done to Molly who had a go at Miss Fisher’s skipping challenge. If you haven’t seen it yet, please have a look at our main page and let us know how you got on! Molly has also been loving the SPaG mats this week. (To find them have a look on the Year 5 ‘Working at Home’ page).

Thank you to Mia who let us know about her week!

This week I have been doing some of the maths worksheets and writing a story. I also have been doing some art (colouring and some painting) and baking some cookies and making a sponge cake. Also I have been getting a lot of fresh air in the garden!

Henry created this wonderful picture of Greek actors with his nan on Skype!

Star of the week!

5BP – Leon for all the effort that you have put into Doodle Maths this week!

5KF – Katie for all the wonderful work you’ve sent in via emails. It’s great to see you taking an interest in so many topics.

5RD – Molly for your diligent approach to working at home. Keep up the amazing work.

Miss Fisher has uploaded a tennis video on the main class page. Don’t have a tennis racket?! Don’t worry! Have a look at the video to see what Miss Fisher recommends you using! Let us know how you got on with the challenge.

Easter holidays:

Please keep reading and using Doodle over the Easter break. In the ‘Working at home’ page there is a new folder called ‘Easter Activities’. This folder includes fun, simple activities for you to do.
